Mount / Dendrobium Orchid (Preorder)

This item is part of our holiday preorder. Preorders are for local pickup only and must be picked up at our shop located at 751 Gaskill St SE Atlanta, GA 30316. Preorders can be picked up between 12/17/2023-12/23/2023 during shop hours which are 11-5 Wednesday-Monday. We are closed on Tuesdays. 

Cork bark mounts are one of our favorite ways to display plants and they look incredible hung on the wall! This mount features a dendrobium orchid. Dendrobiums are not only beautiful but also beginner friendly if you're new to orchids. They are epiphytes that grow attached to trees in the wild so by mounting them to cork bark we are recreating their natural habitat. Place your orchid mount in an area that receives bright indirect light. Allow the exterior layer of the sheet moss to dry out in between waterings around every 10 days or so. Water by placing the moss covered root ball under the faucet until it is fully saturated. Alternatively you can submerge the entire mount under water and allow it to soak for a few minutes. Since these are made using cork bark which is a natural material, each piece will be one of a kind! Expect variation from piece to piece! Mounts will measure 10"-12" at the longest point.
